Now, these kind’s of small businesses typically employ less than 20 people, it’s not really the number of employees but the number of visitors to the website the more visitors to the website, then, generally the more sophisticated, the hosting becomes and the more expensive the hosting becomes.
You also need a domain name (free for the first year on Bluehost) and for most small businesses, they’re gonna be using what’s called shared hosting, which does affect loading page speed and therefore ranking.

I’m in the shared hosting plan or on the shared hosting page. If you are just starting out then that’s fine as you won’t have tons of visitors right out of the gate. 5,000 page-views per month is a lot. plus if you get that amount you are doing something right.

WordPress has become incredibly popular and it’s the one I use on some of my sites along with inter-server and the hosting providers have adapted accordingly and they’ve started offering dedicated WordPress packages.
What that means is that you only install WordPress on that package, whereas with any of these packages here you can install a variety of scripts including WordPress, but on the dedicated WordPress package, you can normally only have WordPress and they tend to offer more support and they offer upgrades, maintenance options on those packages, but they do tend to be more expensive than the standard packages.
WordPress platform is the easiest to learn, also they are the dominant as close to 20% of all websites are created with wordpress.
Bluehost has great WordPress options that have basic, plus, and unlimited called (managed WordPress). WordPress is by far the easiest to manage posts and they include thousands of great themes and plugins for free.
You can see the prices are actually very similar to the standard website packages, but you can only have WordPress on this. You can’t have other things on there on one on one. Incidentally, you can actually install WordPress on the basic package which I recommend as it just saves more money.
